12-Month Headlight Warranty
01 Our Promise
Every headlight restoration performed by Prestige Cleaning SEQ ("we", "us", "our") comes with a 12-month warranty at no extra cost. If your headlights yellow, haze, or the protective sealant peels within 12 months of your service date, we will come back and restore the affected headlight or headlights again, free of charge.
This warranty applies to the vehicle stated in your booking and starts on the day the restoration is completed.
02 What's Covered
- Yellowing or discolouration returning to a restored lens
- Hazing or cloudiness returning to a restored lens
- Peeling, flaking, or bubbling of the UV protective sealant we applied
Every headlight we restore is covered, whether we restored one or both on your car.
03 What's Not Covered
- Physical damage such as stone chips, scratches, cracks, or impact damage
- Damage or deterioration on the inside of the headlight assembly, including internal moisture or condensation
- Issues caused by accidents, repairs, resprays, or work by other parties after our service
- Damage from harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning, or automatic car washes used against our care advice
- Normal, gradual wear over time that does not affect the clarity of the lens
- Vehicles where the restoration was paid for by someone other than the claimant and cannot be verified against our records
If we advised before starting work that your headlights had internal damage that restoration could not fully fix, that pre-existing issue is not covered.
04 Making a Claim
To claim under this warranty, email (or call us) within the 12-month warranty period and provide:
- Your name and the service address or booking details
- Your vehicle's registration number
- The approximate date of your original restoration
- A photo of the affected headlight or headlights, if possible
We will assess the claim, and where it is approved we will arrange a time to re-restore the affected headlights at no charge. Claims are usually assessed within 5 business days.
05 The Remedy
Our obligation under this warranty is to re-perform the restoration on the affected headlight or headlights. This warranty does not provide cash refunds, and it does not extend the original 12-month period. A warranty repair does not restart the warranty clock.
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude, any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
06 Caring for Your Headlights
To get the longest life out of your restoration, we recommend hand washing the lenses with mild car wash soap and avoiding abrasive polishes or brushes on them. Following this advice keeps your warranty straightforward to claim and your headlights clearer for longer.
